Marina Orth Foundation
Supports underprivileged youth in 20 public schools in and around Medellin teaching STEM+ robotics, English and leadership. The program has expanded into the Nuqui, Choco region of Colombia— one of the most biodiverse places on the planet– and is helping to prepare the whole AfroColombian and indigenous community by working with students and teachers inside and outside the classroom in technology and English to prepare them for the future of ecotourism. The Foundation is using over 150XO – One Laptop Per Child computers and has also started two robotics clubs. YOU can help by contributing toward the purchase of computers and educational materials.
